Three ways for Parents to get involved with CYS...
Parent Volunteers: Throughout the year, parents are needed help out with activities. Assist with special events and activities (holiday events, special curriculum programs, etc.); small group activities; and special projects (playground improvement, procurement of equipment; etc.). Parent Participation Program volunteers can take advantage of reduced child care fees for regularly scheduled programs after volunteering for a targeted amount of hours.
Parent Education: Classes to enhance parenting skills; to navigate the road to college; and to understand special needs paperwork (IBP; 504).
Parent Advisory Board (PAB): If interested in a leadership role; parents can join the Parent Advisory Board. The PAB meets monthly to discuss ways to enhance our Child & Youth Programs.
