Joint Services has provided additional Operation Megaphone resources to use throughout the month: Operation Megaphone is back and better than ever! In April of 2023, the Month of the Military Child, military youth programs from around the world will come together to offer Operation Megaphone! Operation Megaphone, also known as "OMP," is an annual worldwide event designed to connect military teens from around the world to discuss key issues that affect military teens, promote communication across all military services, and provide opportunities for teens to give back to their communities. The OMP 2023 theme is "Connecting Communities". The OMP 2023 theme was selected by the OMP Advisory Council: • Ahsha Bass, Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay • Liam Goodison, U.S. Coast Guard Base Kodiak • Lilliana Rovira, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson • Mark Sinigayan, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar • Willow Roe, Tinker Air Force Base After planning your OMP event with your teens, CYPs are encouraged to register their OMP event by Friday April 21 at https://ncsu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_8oUuV3QmlesBFzg .
